"Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles

"Here Comes the Sun" is my absolute favorite song. If you were to tell me that you don't like The Beatles, I would have slapped you to make you come to your senses. Even though i listen to death metal, i can not replace them EVER!!!!!!!!!! The beat in this song is just right, the lyrics are funny (if you ask me) and the fact that its played by The Beatles makes it even more awesome!!!!!
THE BEATLES
Here comes the sun, doo da doo doo
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Little darling
It's been a long, cold, lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling
I see the ice is slowly melting
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and i say,
It's alright

30 Days Episode: Jail

The host of 30 Days, Morgan Spurlock, had to spend 30 days in jail. He did this to experience what it was like to be imprisoned in an overflowing prison site. He was treated like a prisoner, dressed like a prisoner, and ate like a prisoner for 30 days. He was greatly relieved when he was released at the end of his sentence.

South Africa's Songs

During the apartheid, South Africans sang many songs. They sang songs of sadness,  of anger and revulsion. Some songs were questions for the Apartheid Government, asking why they were doing this. Their songs changed with the events as they occurred. When Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, they sang out even harder. The South Africans' songs were a sign of great strength. They sang when they were at guns point. They sang when they were being executed. we should take strength from these songs and make sure nothing like this ever happens again.

Amandla

The movie Amandla is about the apartheid in South Africa. It tlaks about what and how everything happened between 1984 and 1990. After seeing this movie, I was apalled. I feel like this should have never happened. I had no idea that South Africans were being segrated in their own country. Its not right. I'm glad South Africa triumphed over the Apartheid Government.

South Africa (part 2)

What was apartheid like in South Africa? Well, the apartheid in South Africa left people poor and sometimes homeless. It was like segration here in America. The apartheid ended in 1990 because of sanctions. As the world became more intolerant and less supportive of this atrocity it became more difficult for them to maintain their system of authorized inhumanity. What does the word "amandla" mean, and how does it relates to the apartheid? Amandla is a Xhosa and Zulu word meaning "power". It relates to the apartheid because the apartheid has to do with power.

South Africa

The capital of South Africa is Pretoria. The population is 49,052,489. (July 2009 est.) Its convention name is Republic of South Africa .  The apartheid started in 1984. It ened in 1990. The apartheid is separation of and discrimination against blacks in South Africa.
